Extensive Demonstrations with all Branches of U.S. and
Allied Armed Forces

Since the launch of its first satellite in 2005, XTAR has and continues to engage in extensive demonstrations of its capabilities with all branches of the U.S. and Allied Armed Forces.

These demonstrations are usually conducted in partnership or under the auspices of terminal manufacturers, such as DRS Technologies, L-3 Communications, INDRA, Swe-Dish and many others. XTAR's demonstrations continue to validate the utility of high-capacity X-band solutions for military and government communications needs in the air, land and maritime operations.

XTAR has consistently demonstrated superior performance over earlier X-band systems. With a modest investment in a new modem for terminals currently in the government inventory, government users have demonstrated a dramatic improvement of 150 Mbps over the legacy rate of 8 Mbps. Additionally, with XTAR's dual polarization capability, a minor modification to terminal feeds provides access to both left hand and right hand polarized spectrum resulting in an immediate doubling of available capacity.
